| I am really learning a lot of lessons here concerning departing the safe waters of stage 3-ish for more power. Yikes what a headache this can be. Ok so I read up about the sparkplugs, heat ranges, etc in search, and I gather that the NGK PFR6B-11B is what I should be using in my TT at 1bar of boost. My question is, what is the result of using the stock plugs at this boost level? Meaning what can I expect to experience symptom-wise? I ask because I do not know what plugs are in it right now, and when I test drove the car last night I noticed a sort of hesitation/cut-out/powerloss/stumbling once the boost levels approached 14psi. Also, assuming I do need to change plugs, why shouldn't I use the "7" heat range plugs recommended by Specialty Z? [ http://www.specialtyz.com/engine_sparkplugs.htm ]
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every principle of our socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without ever knowing how it happened.... I no longer need to run on the Socialist Party ticket because the Democrat Party has now adopted our platform." --Norman Thomas, 1944 Socialist Party Presidential Candidate "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." --Winston Churchill |
